FMEA success story: Global FMEA Qualification Program for DANA
FMEA workshops won over major American company
Starting in Summer 2019, DIETZ CONSULTANTS will roll out the individual one-week workshops and FMEA trainings for the US automotive supplier based in Maumee in the state of Ohio worldwide - at locations in Canada, USA, South America, Germany and China.
The qualification program, which is specially tailored to the company's requirements and the global challenges in the automotive industry, is the result of a collaboration that began with a training course in the autumn of 2018. Together with Siemens, FMEA experts from DIETZ CONSULTANTS trained the FMEA managers from DANA in Toronto (Canada) and Ohio (USA). The results of the work, as well as the personal experiences of the participants in the one-week FMEA training courses, quickly led the large American company to the conclusion that the program should be established on a global scale.
Field report at the FMEA Forum in the USA
At the first FMEA Forum of DIETZ CONSULTANTS and Siemens, DANA managers share their experiences only one week after the workshops in Canada and the USA. And to a good effect here as well! Our FMEA experts spontaneously carry out FMEA training at the DANA site in Neu-Ulm, Germany, a little later than the global qualification program. This success story is now going on tour globally.
