Total quality management

Total quality management (TQM) refers to the continuous, ongoing activity of recording, sifting, organizing, and controlling all areas of an organization (company, institution, etc.). It serves to introduce and permanently guarantee quality as a system goal. TQM was further developed and made into a success model in the Japanese automotive industry. TQM requires the complete support of all employees in order to lead to success.
