The 10th annual FMEA Forum in Osnabrück - a ten year anniversary with a special program

Over the past few years, the FMEA Forum in Osnabrück has become a fixed term in the German speaking FMEA world.

Under the title "FMEA Success Story (s)", numerous users and experts gather in the Osnabrücker Steigenberger Hotel Remarque in February 2015 to jointly identify new development trends on FMEA, to network and to maintain old relations.

The Forum provides a two-day platform for the exchange of ideas as well as numerous exciting lectures from the practice. (R & D) by Mr. Ralf Wohlleben (Porsche Engineering Services GmbH) and Mr. Siegfried Loos (Chairman of the Board of Management) SL quality management) are just two of the many highlights.

As has been the case since the first edition of the FMEA-Forum, the focus of the event is the identification of new development trends in FMEA as well as the exchange of knowledge and practice-proven success methods. In addition, the concept offers a lot of space for network work. This goal is also served by the previous evening before the event and the traditional visit to the Rampendahl brewery house in Osnabrück's Old Town.

Currently, with the increase in development activities in the field of autonomous driving, new standards are being launched and also require a risk consideration at the beginning of the development of safety systems. It is often mistakenly assumed that an FMEA - which has been known worldwide since the early 20th century - can be used synonymously for the term risk analysis. We clear up this mindset using an example of the SOTIF standard.
