2nd Symposium „Pharmaceutical Medicine“

Science and industry assess trends and challenges of drug development.

The second symposium stands under this motto "Pharmaceutical Medicine", which will take place on 31 January / 1 February 2014 in the excellent premises of the Congress Center "Mundipharma" in Limburg. The Symposium was organized by the University of Duisburg-Essen with the excellence course "Pharmaceutical Medicine".

Accelerating Time to Market wth the collaboration of UB Dietz

In the foreground of this event stands the Growth of the efficiency of drug discovery. The entire value-added chain of drug development, starting with technology transfer and licensing, new methods of process optimization and practical marketing will be presented on these two days.

Dipl.-Ing. Mr. Winfried Dietz will present Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) in Workshop 1 "Process Simplification". A method transfer of tools, with the necessary adaptations, which are often standard in other industrialized countries, can be beneficial in drug development.

Over the two days, 5 workshops will be held on the following topics:
