What challenges does autonomous driving pose for functional safety?

Forum of DIETZ Consultants on November 21 and 22, in Osnabrück. Experts in the field shall provide answers.

Functional safety (FuSi) is based on the assumption that every machine in virtually every industry represents a more or less significant risk for operators and the environment. Especially in the field of autonomous driving, FuSi is a crucial element of technical development. The questions haven’t changed much: What concrete challenges do the developers face? How can they implement the required standard ISO 26262 in practice? And what will be particularly important in the future with regard to artificial intelligence behind the wheel? Answers will be revealed at the Functional Safety Forum of DIETZ Consultants on November 21 and 22, 2018 in Osnabrück.
Incidentally, Autonomous driving demands functional safety, seems to be quite opportune at the moment on the blog of DIETZ Consultants
